Balloon Craze Encore

Yay! A new event! However this is an "encore" meaning that Fantage had an original event. This event is almost exactly the same as the original Balloon Craze. The only differences are the prizes from the ticket booth and the Limited Items. But enough of me blabbering on, let's get on with dissecting the event!

 

Event Info

 

Information about Balloon Catching

The costumes are the exact same as the last event, so you won't need to buy it if you already have them!

 

Non-members can catch balloons by wearing the blue balloon catching costume. These balloons look like the one that is showed above. Balloons are floating around Uptown, Carnival and other places. These balloons don't show up as frequently as the star balloons.

 

Fantagians can collect the star balloons with the Premium member costume.

 

Further Instructions:

Once you collect 4 balloons, you will instantly float up to the hot air balloon.

 

Once there, you just click this girl to hand in your balloons and continue to collect your balloons!

 

Note: If you change out of your costume without handing in your balloons, the ones not handed in will float away!

 

Cloud Maze

To access the cloud maze, go to the hot air balloon located in Downtown.

 

In order to go into the maze, you must have one of these costumes.

 

In the maze, you can collect these items. The silver item coins are for everyone, however the gold coins are for member only. I believe the prizes are the exact same as the ones in the original Balloon Craze. Also, the tickets and gems will appear in the same spot everytime. You are given 2 minutes in the maze, however you can just leave before the time is up and you'll still get the items that you collected. You can use this method to collect gems and tickets quickly.

 

Sky Diving

This game came out in the first event, and it's the exact same!

 

Here's a screen shot of me playing the game. Make sure to avoid the blasted seagulls because they'll take your tickets!

 

 Prizes

There's actually a decent amount of prizes for non-member this time so yay!

 Note: The prizes cost a lot of tickets, so be prepared!

My Opinion
I think that Fantage got a bit lazy with this event. In fact, it's the exact same as the one that came out in 2013! Even the games are the same! The maze is also exactly the same and so are the prizes that are in it!

 

Bingo Rescue

Fantage has released a new game! It's Bingo, but with a twist! Let's take a looksee!
(NOTE: This has been updated, so there's more information about the prizes near the end, before the opinion section)

 

Info Board

Yep, just follow the instructions!

 

Free Board

You also get a free Bingo Board, which I am so kindly modeling.

 

Bingo Rescue

You can access your Bingo Game at the top right hand corner of your screen.

 

When you click the icon, this is what pops up. You just complete the items, and your board will slowly fill up with Bingo chips. I believe every time you get a Bingo (so 4 in a row) you get a prize. I'll post updates when I finish the game.

 

When you get four in a row, you get the prize that is highlighted in yellow. You don't have to go to your Bingo board to receive the prize, Fantage will send a pop up that will look like...

There is also ecoined moonstone prizes, so nons will be able to use them as well!

 

When you fill the entire board like this...

 

You'll get a medal, and level up 10 levels! That's awesome!

 

My Opinion
I like the game, we get free ecoins and ecoined gems! However, because of the ad feature (for nons) playing the games takes forever, and sometimes the ads glitch, so I have to log out and re-login, and that gets a bit annoying. Also, the timer that tracks how much time you spend playing Bingo continues to run, even if you log out. So if you want to get to the fastest finishers, you have to finish the entire board in one shot. Otherwise, this game is pretty cool and a nice take on the classic Bingo!.

 

Megaphone and Lucky Bot

Fantage has just released two new uhh things? So, I am here to just run through them quickly and possibly bash them too...

 

Lucky Bot

So on your normal new page, you'll see a page like this.

 

Lucky bot is not just located at Downtown, it's also located at Uptown.

 

Here's what it looks like at Uptown.

 

When you click the Info box, this pops up. I don't really like the "maybe you'll get a blah blah blah.." part because maybe does not sound very promising...

 

When you click play, this will pop up. To "try your luck," you'll need 900 ecoins. Which I obviously don't have...

 

Megaphone

Another page that will pop up on your news screen is the Megaphone announcement.

 

The Megaphone is located in the top left hand corner of your screen.

 

When you click the icon this is what you'll see.

 

You pick one of the options, then click buy and you'll be taken to this page. Man, Fantage really wants out money this time, look at how they're asking for ecoins for everything!

 

This is what it'll look like if you use the megaphone. Everyone will see your message no matter where they are. These messages will appear on the right hand side of your screen.

 

My Opinion

The Megaphone is a pretty good idea, however, why must we pay to communicate with each other. Wait, we pay to use cell-phones... And Internet... Alright scratch that. The Lucky Bot is pretty cool, depending if you can win every time you pay 900 ecoins. Cause if you don't, that's pretty lame... I'll try it out maybe, maybe... I like the "assumed" prizes for the Lucky Bot, however some of them look kind of familiar... Like costumes that they have sold in the past? Unless the ones on the new page wasn't actually the prizes! We'll just have to wait to find out!

 

Cupcake Conundrum

So the Fantage Valentine's Day event has been released under the name "Cupcake Conundrum!" I wonder what their focus is... *sarcasm*

So here's the info! I'll take you through each part!

 

Event Movies

So there's two event movies, only the first one has been released today.

 

Make Your Own Valentine's Day Card

Yep the title says it all. This isn't related to Fantage, but to the real world. You can design a card and then print it out to give to someone. Knock yourself out...

 

Limited Items

See the girls' limited items here, and the boys here.

 

Valentine's Day Gift Furniture

You can access the catalogue by clicking the gift box at the top right hand corner of your screen.

 

You'll be taken to this page, where you can choose a gift to give. Note, all of this is furniture.

 

Once you've chosen the gift, you can either choose a person who is nearby or a buddy to give the present to.

 

The gifts are all 1000 stars each, so I don't suggest you go around begging people to buy them for you. It's just furniture so there's no point really.

 

Frosting Fuss

There's two mini games and they're both located at the Star Café.

 

There is a game called "Frosting Fuss."

 

The instructions are pretty straight forward.

 

You need to avoid the flaming obstacles and collect tickets. Some obstacles will stay in one spot while...

 

Some will fly towards you. Don't worry, you've got three lives!

 

When you run out of lives, you'll receive some tickets.

 
 There are cupcakes that appear at the beginning at the game, and they will provide you an advantage for a short period of time. I'm not sure if there are more, but it doesn't really matter. The red/pink one let's you jump and move faster, the blue let's you do a double jump, the rainbow cupcake is a ticket magnet, and I'm not quite sure about the yellow one yet. I'll update this later.

Cupcake Chaos 2

There is another game called "Cupcake Chaos" and this is also located at the Star Café.

 

Here are the instructions, you have sixty seconds to earn points.

 

Here is the overall screen.

 

Click this part to get a cupcake base first.

 

Then choose the appropriate icing.

 

Choose a topping, then click the plate of the person you want to serve. They will leave and another person will replace them.

 

If you make a mistake, you can trash the cupcake.

 

People with golden bubbles will give you more points and in turn, more tickets, serve them first to earn more points faster.

 

Prizes

Since there's tickets, there must be prizes! You can access this panel by clicking the golden ticket at the top right hand corner of your screen next to the present box. There's only a medal and bag of stars for nons, so this event is kind of... Not saying anything..

 

Chocolate Fountain

Who doesn't love a good chocolate fountain? This one is located at the Carnival.

 

Woot here it is!

  When you run into the chocolate fountain, you will emerge with one of these temporary costumes. When you leave the Carnival, you will be dressed in your normal outfit again. When you run into the fountain again, you may either stay in the same costume or change. My favourite is the strawberry because it looks pretty damn awesome when you jump and wave! I think that this event is alright. It's pretty normal. I'm kind of disappointed with the prizes. And why hasn't Fantage released a scavenger hunt for so long? I love those! Overall, this event is pretty mediocre...
